Welcome to the English Department

Over the course of your four years at Excel High School, the English Department will expose you to a wide variety of literary genres. The 9th grade course is Introduction to Genre, the 10th grade course is American Literature II, the 11th grade course is World Literature, and the 12th grade course is British Literature. With hard work and dedication, students may also be able to take Advanced Placement Language and Composition in their senior year.
