Welcome to Ms. Griglun's Page!

Hello. My name is Paige Griglun and this is my first year teaching ESL at Excel. I attended the University of New Hampshire and la Universidad de Granada (Spain), graduating with a B.A. in English and a minor in Spanish. After a few years of living in rural New Hamspshire, I decided to give Boston a try and enrolled in Simmons College's M.A.T. program. In 1992, I began teaching English and Spanish and quickly discovered I had a passion for educational travel. Over the past 19 years, I've had the pleasure of watching dozens of students fall in love with language, travel and culture. I hold a MELT (MA English Language Teachers Initiative) certificate and enjoy spreading the joys of language learning with elementary students as well. I run Spanish enrichment programs for younger ones in my neighborhood nursery school.

I am excited to be part of the Excel community and want to instill in my students not only a solid knowledge of the English language, but also a love of learning in general. I am quite impressed by my students' personal characters and willingness to work hard both inside and outside of the classroom.
