Welcome to Ms. Ramos' Page!

My name is Shirlayne Ramos. I have worked for Boston Public Schools for the past 32 years. I have been a member of the Excel High School community since 2007. Currently, I am teaching English 9, English 11, English 12 and a Creative Writing Course. I graduated from Simmons College, received my Bachelor’ s Degree in Education and my Master’ s Degree from Lesley College. Having attended Boston Public Schools, it has been a pleasure to have the opportunity to give back to the system that prepared me for my future endeavors. I am thrilled to be a part of the Excel community where I have the privilege to work with highly motivated students, teachers and staff. My goal is to see that all students at Excel strive for excellence, achieve their goals and build a foundation for lifelong learning.
